Luverne, Alabama native Tony Brook met King's Lynn, Great Britain native Yvette Mary Barwood in 2010. They have been writing, recording and performing music together ever since.
Tony fell in love with music from working at radio station WLVN at the age of 15. Tony borrowed a guitar from a friend a couple of years later and since then he has performed with Americana great Lucinda Williams, blues great Jontavious Willis, country music legend Tanya Tucker and has opened for Legendary Performers such as Willie Nelson and Ray Charles ton ame a few, playing his own style of Americana Blues.
Yve Mary B on the other hand, is one of the founding members of Morganway, the winner of the BCMA’s (British Country Music Association) award for Band Of The Year issued this year 2024.
After 5 years writing and performing with Morganway they parted ways. Their biggest hit to this day is Hurricane, a song written by Yvette Mary Barwood, Callum Morgan & George Nicholson.
Yve studied Vocal Performance Technology, Recording Techniques and the nuts and bolts of the music business at London Music School. Even though she has a “proper” music education, it has not dampened her innate talent as a vocalist, instrumentalist and a songwriter, performing her own style of roots music.
